Google Page Creator Reopens

Google Page Creator just reopened signups. Google's new online interface will enable non tech-savvy folks to create a website easily and effortlessly. To date, GPC is the simplest "website creation" software I've seen.

Of course, if you know HTML and want to use your own hand-made template instead of Google's WYSIWYG editor, you can simply paste the HTML code into the program. A word of caution: GPC is in beta, and has some kinks (just finished testing it out) especially when selecting page templates. It locks up ocassionally and you have to go back to the main GPC homepage.

I'm betting that GPC will create a new tidal wave of spam (and renewed interest in Gmail accounts). It should be interesting to see how heavily Google spiders these pages, and how much weight the links on GPC pages carry.
